Top Ten Recipes of 2016
In just a few days it will be another year down in the books! 2016 was a big one for me. I traveled to some of the most beautiful places in the world, took the blog full-time, said goodbye to my baby Coco, and started a new chapter with our move to Georgia.
Thinking about what lies ahead in 2017 has me filled with hope. It’s been a dream of mine to be able to focus all of my attention on this site and I look forward to finally having that privilege this year. I want to pour all of my heart and soul into continuing to create recipes that are easy and approachable while still being healthy and delicious. I want to improve my photography, enhance usability of this site, and venture into video more so that you get a chance to see what goes on behind the computer screen.
Most of all, I want to make sure that I’m providing value and connecting with YOU, my precious readers. Without this community my site would be nothing. I am so grateful that you take the time to check in with me and tell me how much you enjoy this labor of love. Knowing that I have a wonderful group of people out there who share my passion for health brings me so much comfort. Thank you for all that you do to help make this site possible. I wish you all of the happiness and joyful memories that life can bring in the new year. Cheers to 2017!

What a year it has been for you, the highs, the lows and everything in between. I’m just one of your regular readers, but I appreciate all the hard work, dedication and personal effort you put into your site. The recipes are always presented so beautifully in your photos, and it begs your readers to try it for themselves.
The top 10 recipes look delicious. I personally make the one skillet Mexican quinoa dish every week, no kidding. My daughter comes over here on Saturdays to pick up one of our dogs for agility classes, and she often asks me to make this for us for lunch after she gets back from class.
Anyway, I look forward to what appears in 2017 on your blog! Happy New Year to you and yours. :)
I am so grateful to have you as a reader, Jerilyn. Your encouragement and kindness means so much to me. Picturing you making my recipes for your daughter truly warms my heart. You are what makes it all worthwhile. :)
Happy New Year!
